About Us
In the mountains, woods and hollows of West Virginia, a quarter of a million cats live without food or shelter! The majority have not been neutered or spayed. Almost Heaven Animal Rescue was established after 15 years of service by caring neighbors and volunteers . Our mission is to get medical treatment, increase community awareness and find homes for some of God's most vulnerable creatures.

Spay & Neuter
Litter after litter, kittens are being born without vet care. While these sweet babies steal hearts, they require food and costly medical attention. By managing the population, everyone benefits: Healthier cats and less burdened humans.
Foster
Our fostering network includes kind-hearted people who open their homes to animals in transition and partner-ships with Potomac Highlands Rescue and Wolf Trap Animal Rescue in VA.
